The Hosting and Compute Operations Engineer will be responsible for managing Virtualization, Linux, Windows, Nutanix, Data Protection and Storage. You will work under limited supervision of Hosting and Compute management and team, both independently and with other members of the team to respond to Service Requests, Problems, Incidents and Change Requests.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• embrace Virtualization, Linux, Windows, Nutanix, Data Protection, Storage, VMware products and Cloud.

• Working with users to troubleshoot and solve complex operational issues of all above enumerated technologies;

• Cloud capacity planning management and metrics reporting;

• Ensuring accurate data backup configuration and monitoring, on-demand or test restores, tape management included;

• Assisting in working with vendors and datacenter technicians for installing/troubleshooting/replacing hardware as necessary.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Understanding of Virtualization, NSX-T, Storage, Data Protection, Windows, and Linux/Unix environments;

• Knowledge of VMware products;

• Operational network knowledge of routing & switching technologies;

• Knowledge of scripting languages and techniques;

• Proficiency in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Cloud certifications for Azure, OCI, AWS.
