Service Source Human Resources Coordinator in Fayetteville, North Carolina

Job Summary Administer Human Resource policies, programs, and practices. Communicate and maintain consistent application of established guidelines. Focus on new hire on-boarding and integration, recruiting administration, data entry into the HRIS and other systems, maintaining personnel files, and documentation and administration of employee data changes.

Primary Duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. These duties and responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.

  • Coordinate the completion of all necessary on-boarding and integration materials and documents for new hires, rehires, transfers, and promotions.

  • Respond to basic employee questions about human resources policies or offerings.

  • Schedule interviews, orientations, or training sessions.

  • Process employee status changes or benefits enrollments; maintains records of completed transactions.

  • Enters HR-related data and compiles standard reports for management review.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with New Hire Orientation for newly hired employees at the regional office or virtually.

  • Maintain the organization’s personnel files, including creating individual employee personnel files for new hires or transfers, FMLA/STD/WC leave records, ADA accommodations, employee relations, application and resume files, benefit plan enrollment, and termination records. Retire records of departed employees.

  • Participate in HR compliance audits and surveys.

  • Coordinate out-processing of terminated employees including HRIS actions, exit interviews, alerting IT and Facilities to turn off system and building access in a timely manner and with professional sensitivity.

  • Collect and process requests for benefit programs including tuition reimbursement, leave donation programs and submit to HR Generalist/Senior HR Manager for approval before submitting to Compensation and Benefits for final approval and processing.

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.

  • Previous human resources experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge and experience with Human Resources laws and corresponding compliance requirements including: FLSA, FMLA, SCA, COBRA, EEO/AAPs, ERISA, and HIPPA required.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneDrive

  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Multi-tasking skills required.

  • Confident, clear, and professional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to perform very detail-oriented tasks.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team.

  • Strong focus on providing exceptional and accurate customer service to both internal and external individuals.

  • Ability to learn and become proficient in the Workday HRIS system.
