CVS Health Lead Decision Scientist in New York, New York

Lead Decision ScientistCaremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in New York, NY: Lead Decision Scientist to apply data warehousing strategies and leverage data science and/or data engineering techniques to inform analytics product strategy. Duties include: conduct data hypothesis testing to improve analytics products; build data pipelines to analyze life science or healthcare data and identify key product/market opportunities; contribute to the scoping and ongoing evolution of the analytics product roadmap and commercialization strategy; develop and maintain an understanding of the current analytics market for healthcare services including key business drivers; identify unmet needs and potential ideas related to analytics products to meet client or internal stakeholder needs; suggest key monetization opportunities and/or identify priority features based on in-depth data analysis and research findings; collaborate with solution teams to drive definition or refinement of analytics products roadmap and provide support for the positioning of product strategy to optimize product impact and value; track project metrics linked to business goals; visualize complex data to create effective presentations that inform business partners and leadership teams of product value, progress, optimization opportunities, and remediation recommendations; and mentor junior staff. 10% travel required within the U.S. for internal meetings and industry conferences. Multiple Openings.Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Analytics, Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Requires three (3) years of experience in each of the following: data analytics and pipeline orchestration in healthcare domain; analyzing life science and / or healthcare data from multiple sources; machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling; Agile development methodologies and corresponding tools including JIRA and Confluence; MySQL, SQL, and Python; data visualization with Tableau and PowerBI; analytic model development; and analytics product development. 10% travel required within the U.S. for internal meetings and industry conferences.

Minimum Salary: 132250 Maximum Salary: 260000 Salary Unit: Yearly
