The Team

The Market Intelligence team sits within the Talent Acquisition organization and is fundamental to our talent attraction strategy. We are strategic partners to the business and provide data, insights and analytics that influence key talent decisions including location strategy, anticipated hiring timelines, potential hiring cost, Employer Branding and EVP positioning. Our market analytics includes talent availability, competitor analysis, candidate preferences and talent demographic breakdown. Our team leverages a breadth of external data sources to research, synthesize and equip the business with insights that enable smart and efficient long-term talent strategies.

The team has four core areas of focus:

  • Long term business strategy and ad-hoc initiatives.

  • Performance analytics and data visualization.

  • Employer branding analytics – platform strategy and performance.

  • Position Intelligence – individual role or function analytics to support current hiring.

Your New Role

The Market Intelligence Lead will oversee a small but effective team, providing our partners in TA, People & Culture, and the business with proactive insights into shifts and trends across our key markets and sectors. Insights include candidate trends, competitor behavior, areas of risk and or opportunity for WBD, as well as bespoke research and analytics to support their business’ growth and evolution plans. The team will also be tasked with conducting ad-hoc “deep-dive” analyses on topics of interest, in which you will be expected to effectively analyze available data, synthesize key points, and tie your analysis to the broader overarching WBD strategy. Projects may be initiated by specific asks from key leaders/ stakeholders but should also be proactively initiated based on your knowledge of WBD’s strategic priorities. The team will also work closely with Employer Branding, Diversity Outreach and Central Sourcing functions to analyze and drill into key areas of performance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics/ strategy or management consulting in media and entertainment or adjacent industry.

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Proficient in Excel/PowerPoint

  • Experience with or willingness to learn PowerBI and Tableau

  • Knowledge of Talent Neuron or similar tool (desirable but not required)

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $72,240.00 - $134,160.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
