Day - 08 Hour (United States of America)

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with patients and helping them obtain the care they need. Our team members are cross trained to work in multiple roles from front desk to back office. A few responsibilities the SPC will be assisting with are rooming patients, checking patients in and out, scheduling follow-up appointments, setting up procedural areas, assisting providers during procedures, managing providers schedules and ensuring timely communication between the patient and the provider by responding to patient messages.

A Brief Overview

Expertise of PFC III skills and knowledge PLUS. Under direction of a physician and or resident physician, the focus of the job is to enhance the efficiency and improve the throughout of patients while maintain and improving patient satisfaction

What you will do

  • Minimal transcribing and dcoumenation : record a physician directed patient history of present illness (HPI), past medical history (PMH), Family and/or social history and physical examination (PE), including pertinent positives and negatives.

  • Assist the physician with researching and recording a patient's PMH by assembling and reviewing nurse's notes, EMS reports, referral notes from other health care facilities, and hospital records (e.g., prior admission notes, discharge summaries, operative/procedure notes and records).

  • Record procedures and the results of laboratory tests and radiographic images

  • Improve the efficiency of patient care by assisting the physician with routine matters.

  • Must complete the department specialty training and orientation program and attend any required Stanford new employee orientation sessions, complete all HIPAA/Compliance training and background/exclusion checks required, receive any vaccinations required, and sign all applicable confidentiality agreements and forms.

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Medical AssistantCertificate/Diploma from an approved school/institution or equivalentdocumented training/experience

Experience Qualifications

  • Five or more years experience in healthcare or similar

Licenses and Certifications

  • BLS - Basic Life Support .

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $35.14 - $39.59 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
