Job Summary
As .NET Developer, you will assist in building UI for handhelds used in our client's retail locations.
Job Description
We are looking for a .NET Developer . This position will be a full-time and hybrid (2 days onsite/3 days remote) contract opportunity.
Candidates must be a commutable distance to Reading, PA.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop and implement solutions to connect business application across an array of different platforms, APIs, databases, protocol and data formats
Collaborate and review code with other developers to ensure integrations meet technical standards
Build mobile first solutions to meet the needs of our co-workers
Develop integration interfaces leveraging .NET
Create web service interfaces to legacy systems
Produce technical design artifacts including data flow and system diagrams
Test and troubleshoot integrations across internal and external systems
What You'll Need
Required
Understand SQL and relational databases
3-5 Years’ experience in the following: C#, .NET Framework, Web application development leveraging bootstrap, DB2, Microsoft SQL, Oracle
Responsive design skills
Experience with Azure App Service stack
Ability to work independently
Familiarity with source code control
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
