POSITION DESCRIPTION

Title:Facilities Coordinator Performance Profile:Full-Time Professional Department: Operations Reports To:Facilities Manager Wage: Hourly

Position Summary:Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Coordinator is responsible for performing routine duties related to the maintenance of the Clubs three traditional facilities and vehicle fleet. The Facilities Coordinator will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. Position requires driving company vehicle. Candidates must have satisfactory driving record and a valid drivers license for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties and to be covered under the company insurance the requirement is for employee to be a minimum of age 21.

Key Qualifications:

  • Related experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
  • Knowledge of general carpentry and repair.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Computer literacy, including database management and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to take direction and to execute goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to both execute tasks individually and work with the Facilities Manager to ensure the safety of the Club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate system repairs and monitor system performance.
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary.
  • Contract out landscaping and snow removal services.
  • Ensure Club vehicles are suitable for transporting Club members and make necessary repairs or coordinate vehicle-related services (i.e. oil changes, repairs, updates, etc.)
  • Execute equipment audits and record-taking policies.
  • Coordinate with the Director of safety on the implementation of building projects.
  • Develop and implement a ticketing system for Club personnel to submit maintenance-related requests.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
  • Serve as a regular bus, shuttle, and van driver.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Seeing:(75-100%)Must be able to see well enough to see computer and calculator screens and read documents and reports. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must have 20/20 vision (with or without correction).
  • Hearing:(75-100%)Must be able to hear well enough to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Sitting:(25-49%)Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to operate vehicles.
  • Standing/Walking:(50-74%)Must have the ability to move about the work site.
  • Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling:(25-49%)Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up paper products or materials.
  • Lifting/Pulling/Pushing:(25-49%)Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Grasping/Feeling:(75-100%)Must be able to grasp and use computer equipment, including keyboard, mouse, and calculator. Must be able to drive.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often in a clean, non-smoking, heated and cooled office environment. The employee will also requently be indoors or in a vehicle, but may also be outdoors with exposure to dust, pollen, and outside temperature and weather extremes associated with the region. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
